Janos “The Action Man”  Uotila

… Janos Uotila is an icon in his native Finland, where he is often on television and where he is sponsored by Audi and several other major companies.  Janos took 2nd Place in the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship of Ireland in 2005, and he too 2nd Place in the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship of Scotland in 2006.  Janos qualified for the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship in 2005 and he had a great run before he was eliminated in the Quarter-Finals.  Janos again qualified for the finals in 2006, and he followed with another good showing at the 2006 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship in Mesquite, NV where he lasted through the 7th round of that event.
Janos matches his long drive talents with other trick-shot abilities; including, the ability to hit a ball 242 yards with one hand, as well as the ability to hit a ball 275-yards from his knees.
