Chris “Welsh Maradona”  Roberts

… Chris Roberts is the pride of Wales, and his custom shafts bear their national colors of red-green-white.  Chris stands 6”2” tall and weighs 19 stone. Chris burst on the long drive scene by taking a 3rd Place finish at the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship of Finland in 2005, and he followed in 2006 with a 3rd Place finish at the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship of Spain.  Among his many accomplishments, Chris once hit a ball over the Menal Straits (from Gwynedd to Anglesey) for Welsh TV…  a carry of more than 380 yards! Chris was slowed last year in his quest for the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship; however, he will be as strong as ever this year, and after he wins the championship, chris has promised to buy a King Prawn Curry dinner for all his sponsors. Chris will represent Wales at the 1st Annual House of Forged/Long Drive Team Poker Championship, which will be held during the RE/MAX Long Drive Championships in Mesquite, NV during finals week in late October 2007.
